1. Who we are

Sentitrend is a sentiment intelligence platform operated from the Czech Republic. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean the team behind Sentitrend. When we say "you" or "your", we mean you as a user of our service.

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

Account data - email address, name, and profile information you provide during sign-up, managed by our authentication provider (Clerk, hosted in Ireland, EU)
Usage data - pages visited, features used, and session activity for service improvement
Contact form submissions - name, email, and message content when you reach out to us

We do not collect payment information, location data, or install tracking cookies beyond essential session management.

3. How we use your data

To authenticate you and manage your account
To provide access to the sentiment intelligence dashboard
To respond to your contact form inquiries
To improve the service based on aggregated usage patterns

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Where your data is stored

All data is processed and stored within the European Union:

Authentication and user accounts - Clerk (Ireland, EU)
Application database - Supabase PostgreSQL (Ireland, EU)
Email delivery - Resend (Ireland, EU)
Frontend hosting - Vercel (edge network, nearest region)

5. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

As a user, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and personal data
Object to processing of your data
Export your data in a portable format

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), security headers, restricted API access, and production-grade authentication. Access to the platform is invite-only during the beta period.
